How Do I Upload Image to Fit 1600 X 400 Px
I worked recently on a site using a WordPress theme with specific image sizes.
Each postal service or page could have a featured image above the content. The featured image size varies from theme to theme. For this theme the optimal size was 960 x 250 px, a letterbox shape.
If another paradigm was supplied, it would be sized to fit these particular dimensions. Sometimes that didn't produce the desired results!
I'm going to explain:
- why this happened
- how to make the best choice of image, and
- how you can resize a picture to a specific size.
What happens if you add together an epitome that is a different size from the recommended ane?

Choosing the optimal shape for your image
